Angostura is a city of about 5000 people in the northwest of the Mexican state Sinaloa , near the Gulf of California . Angostura is about 24 m above sea level, about 20 km from the Pacific coast, in the coastal plain area. Angostura is located in the municipality of the same name and is its administrative center, but not its most populous place.
