Angst is the seventeenth music album by the German musician Klaus Schulze . It was published in 1984 and composed, recorded and produced by Schulze alone. It is the soundtrack for the thriller of the same name by Gerald Kargl from 1983.
A special feature is that Klaus Schulze composed the album as a soundtrack without having seen the film beforehand. This was only produced after the completion of the film music - when editing the editors based on the music. In an interview with Albrecht Piltz in 2005, Schulze revealed that after watching the film, he wasn't sure whether the murderer or the director should have been arrested.
The piece Freeze was also in the film Manhunter - Red Dragon by Michael Mann used from the year 1986th
