Anima Anandkumar
Anima Anandkumar (born in Mysore ; full name Animashree Anandkumar ) is an Indian computer scientist , since 2017 as a Bren Professor of Computing at the California Institute of Technology teaches and since 2018 for Nvidia as Director of Machine Learning operates.
Anandkumar earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2004 and her PhD from Cornell University in 2009 . She was then a postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology until 2010 and became a professor at the University of California, Irvine in the same year . In addition, worked at Microsoft Research from 2012 to 2014 and as Principal Scientist at Amazon Web Services from 2016 to 2018 .
