Anja Jacobs

Anja Jacobs (* 1974 in Itzehoe ) is a German film director .

Live and act

After graduating from high school in 1993, Anja Jacobs began studying communication design at the Hanseatic Academy for Marketing and Media in Hamburg , graduating in 1997 with a diploma . She then worked as a freelancer for various advertising agencies in Hamburg. From 1998 to 2003 Anja Jacobs studied then at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg , the study Scenic Director . She earned her diploma with the short film Wolfsschlucht , which was shown at many international festivals and received several prizes, including the AFI Grand Jury Award in 2002 and a nomination at the 30th Student Academy Awards in 2003 .

Since then, Anja Jacobs has directed several television productions and has also worked for the production company Oberon Film GmbH as a producer for story development since 2009 .

Anja Jacobs lives in Berlin .
