Anja Monke (born May 28, 1977 in Herford ) is a German professional golfer . From 2004 to 2008 she played on the European Ladies Tour LET , the Ladies European Tour. She made the leap to the American professional tour LPGA via the Qualifying School in 2008. She has played on the LPGA since 2009.
In 2003 she won the international amateur championships in Switzerland and Italy and was voted German amateur golfer of the year. With a handicap of +3, she switched to the professional camp in autumn 2003. In September 2008 she won her first professional tournament with the Vediorbis Open de France, followed by victory at the Dubai Ladies Masters.
