Anke Habekost
Anke Habekost (born June 15, 1962 in Hoya , Nienburg / Weser district , Lower Saxony ) is a German author and translator of theater texts from Low German into High German and vice versa.
Life
Raised in Martfeld , a then small village in Lower Saxony, ended Habekost the junior high school after the 10th grade with the extended lower secondary education . From 1978 to 1981, she trained as a technical assistant in business and tax advisory professions. In 1982 she moved from the tax office as an accountant to the theater publisher Karl Mahnke in Verden. There she encountered the Low German language and also the theater. She began to deal with the works. Many translations into Low German have been made since 1991.
