Anke Morsch

Anke Morsch (born March 25, 1969 in Neunkirchen ) is a German judge and former State Secretary. She has been President of the Saarland Finance Court since August 1st, 2017 .

Life

After graduating from the Illtalgymnasium in Illingen , which she attended from 1979 to 1988, Anke Morsch studied law at the Saarland University from 1988 to 1994 . She finished her studies with the first state examination . After her legal clerkship from 1994 to 1996, she passed the second state examination. From 1996 to 1999 she was a research assistant at Saarland University. She did her doctorate on mediation instead of punishment . and entered the higher service of the Saarland financial administration in 1999 . Most recently she was head of department in the Saarland Ministry of Finance. From 2007 to 2012 she was a judge at the Saarland Finance Court , from 2010 to 2012 also a member of the Saarland Constitutional Court . Until 2012 she was also a member of the State Personnel Committee and lecturer at Saarland University. After the early state elections in March 2012, Morsch was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Environment and Consumer Protection. Since the judiciary department now went to the CDU after the state elections in March 2017 in the new, renewed grand coalition, the SPD member Morsch was not reappointed State Secretary. Instead, she was appointed President of the Saarland Finance Court with effect from August 1, 2017.

Anke Morsch is married. She lives in Berschweiler .

In 2000, Anke Morsch joined the SPD . Since 2010 she has represented the SPD community association Marpingen on the St. Wendel district executive .
