Anke Wild

Anke Wild (born October 12, 1967 in Rüsselsheim ) is a former German hockey player and Olympic participant.

Anke Wild played in her youth for the Rüsselsheim RK , with whom she was German youth champion in 1983 and 1985. In 1987 she was promoted to the women's Bundesliga with the first team. In 1988 she moved to Berlin HC , with whom she became German indoor champion in 1992. Further titles followed indoors in 1995 and 1996, as well as outdoors in 1994 and 1996. In 1993 she won the European Cup indoors and in 1997 on the field.

In 1989 Anke Wild made her debut in the German national hockey team . In early 1990 she won the title at the European Indoor Championships with the national team. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona, the Spanish women won the gold medal, Anke Wild received the silver medal with the German team.

For this she and the team were awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf on June 23, 1993.

In total, Anke Wild played 58 international matches from 1989 to 1993, 10 of them indoors.

Anke Wild was temporarily in a relationship with the Olympic hockey champion Andreas Keller , who is also the father of her two older children.
