Ann Wolfe (born January 17, 1971 in Austin , Texas ) is an American boxer.

After just four amateur fights with three wins, Wolfe turned pro in 1998. In her sixth professional fight, she lost to Valerie Mahfood by technical knockout in the third round, the first and so far only defeat of her career. As a result, she defeated all opponents, including winning against Mahfood in two return matches on points.

In light middle, super middle and light heavyweight she also won some world championship titles of dubious organizations whose behavior is just as opaque as in men's boxing between light middle and light heavyweight. But she became known in the USA above all through a single fight: the first round knockout in 2004 (with a single blow) against the previously undefeated Vonda Ward , who then had to be carried out of the ring. US television called this KO the most spectacular KO in women's boxing history. Her trainer for the fight was Emanuel Steward .

Since then, there have been debates about a fight with Laila Ali in the super middleweight division, which she has been avoiding so far. Also Natascha Ragosina boxing in this weight class. At times she even considered fighting a male boxer due to a lack of opponents.
