Anna Carla Winkes (born April 21, 1990 in Koblenz ) is a German model .

Life

Anna Carla Winkes was born in Koblenz. Here she attended the Episcopal Cusanus High School , where she graduated from high school in 2009. She then began studying bio-geosciences at the University of Koblenz-Landau , Koblenz campus, where she obtained the academic degree of Bachelor of Science in 2014. As part of her bachelor thesis, she researched the virosity of the pandora virus in the laboratory department of the medical service of the Bundeswehr in Koblenz.

At the beginning of 2010, Winkes applied for the open casting of Germany's Next Top Model in Cologne , in which over 2000 applicants took part. Until then, she had hardly any modeling experience. The show left Winkes prematurely for personal reasons. She then signed her first modeling contract with the EQ Models agency in Berlin. First jobs for Schwarzkopf followed, as well as a TV advertisement for Oil of Olaz and McDonald’s and Coca-Cola . Over the years, she concluded further contracts with Body & Soul, Hamburg, JAVA Models, Munich, NoLogo, Milan, Nevs, London MagicModels, Austria, BertaModels, Barcelona and Erberk, Istanbul.

At the beginning of 2014 she ventured to the USA and signed a contract with the renowned agency Wilhelmina Models . The first successes followed quickly, such as the campaign for EDC by Esprit Holdings , Protest Swimwear and the cover of the German Shape in June 2015.

Private life

Winkes has a biological and a stepsister and has lived in Hamburg, Munich, Istanbul, Athens, Milan and London over the course of her career. She is currently commuting between Germany and America. Due to her long-standing on / off relationship with the young Greek entrepreneur Aliosa Grissin (2009-2014), the Greek gossip press often reported on her private life.
