Anna Czerny

Anna Czerny (born January 28, 1902 in Wiener Neustadt ; † March 26, 1992 ibid.) Was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Anna Czerny came from a large family of railway workers. After elementary and community school , she attended a course in office work and worked as a typist. In 1920 she joined the Social Democratic Labor Party. From 1930 to 1934, 1946 to 1952 and 1960 to 1965 she was a member of the municipal council of Wiener Neustadt, from 1952 to 1960 a member of the city council. From 1949 to 1959 she was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament , and from 1959 to 1968 she was a member of the National Council .
