Anna Jacobina Johanna Lindhagen (born April 7, 1870 in Stockholm ; † May 15, 1941 ibid) was a Swedish social democratic politician and women's rights activist . Her father was the politician and city ​​planner Albert Lindhagen , her brother the Stockholm politician and mayor Carl Lindhagen .

Anna Lindhagen was a trained nurse and showed great empathy for poor children. She was active in the Swedish women's movement and editor of the magazine Morgonbris , the membership paper of the social democratic women's association. From 1911 to 1923 she was a member of the Stockholm City Government ( stadsfullmäktige ) and from 1921 she was a member of the Stockholm Beauty Council ( Stockholms skönhetsråd ). Anna Lindhagen fought for women's suffrage and she was one of the first to propose state support for widows and fatherless people.

In addition to her socio-political commitment, she campaigned for the movement of the allotment garden idea and for the preservation of the original development in Stockholm's Södermalm district . A museum is dedicated to her in one of the 19th century houses, Fjällgatan 34 . Anna Lindhagen lived in two rooms of this house during the last years of her life and the rooms are partly furnished with her furniture.
