Anna Malunat

Anna Malunat (* 1980 in Bonn ) is a German theater director .

Becoming and working

Malunat studied acting and music theater directing at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich. During and after her studies she was Peter Konwitschny's assistant several times . She is the winner of the Ring Award , international competition for directing and stage design in 2005. In addition to the main prize, she also received the prize of the press jury and the prize of the artistic director's jury. She was a scholarship holder of the Akademie Musiktheater heute of the Deutsche Bank cultural foundation, from which she received the sponsorship award for her staging of the opera Der Herr Gevatter - a house fairy tale of Manfred Trojahn's composition class , as well as a scholarship holder of the Ligerzer Opernwerkstatt.
