Anna Marie Geibelt
Anna Marie Geibelt (born November 13, 1838 in Nentmannsdorf ; † January 18, 1923 in Pirna ) created several charitable foundations and was active in several charitable organizations (women's association of the district orphanage, Albertverein , association "Heimatdank").
In her will she considered the city of Pirna, individuals, foundations and funds. The foundation was called Geibeltstiftung, and as it was her wish, a swimming pool was built in Pirna from 1929 to 1937, which was named after her. The Geibeltbad Pirna was renovated and rebuilt from 2000 to 2001 and today has an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a wellness complex.
