Anna Pieri Zuercher , also Anna Pieri and Anna Pieri Zürcher , (* 1979 in Bern ) is a Swiss actress .

Life

Anna Pieri Zuercher was born to an Italian mother and a Swiss-German father. In 1996 she began studying piano at the Bern University of the Arts , which she completed in 2000. From 2001 to 2004 she completed an acting degree at the Ecole Superieure d'Art Dramatique (ESAD).

From 2005 she performed at theaters in Paris , Lausanne and Geneva , for example in 2007 at the Geneva Théâtre du Loup as Gretchen in Mein Kampf by George Tabori or at the Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne , where she performed in Les in the 2008/09 season Caprices de Marianne was seen in the title role. From 2010 to 2015 she played at the Théâtre de l'Orangerie in Geneva, for example Ophelia in Hamlet .

She made her film debut in 2004 in Paul s'en va directed by Alain Tanner . In the television series Station Horizon (2015) she played the role of Suzy Fragnière. In January 2019, at the Solothurn Film Festival , she was awarded the Swiss Television Film Prize 2019 as best leading actress for the series Double Life (Double vie) .

In May 2019 she was presented together with Carol Schuler as the commissioner of the crime series Tatort . The two are to succeed Stefan Gubser and Delia Mayer as Flückiger and Ritschard as the Swiss investigative duo from Zurich . Anna Pieri Zuercher is supposed to play the role of Isabelle Grandjean.

In 2016 she married the cameraman Pietro Zuercher (* 1976).
