Anne-Karin Glase

Anne-Karin Glase (born July 24, 1954 in Neuruppin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and education

Anne-Karin Glase attended the Polytechnic High School in Neuruppin and trained as a pediatric nurse. She worked as a health worker, carer in youth health protection and carer for skin and sexually ill people.

Anne-Karin Glase is a Protestant, married and has two children.

Anne-Karin Glase has been a member of the CDU since 1986 . She was the deputy state chairwoman of the Brandenburg Women's Union , a member of the federal executive committee of the women's union and the CDU federal executive committee.

MPs

Anne-Karin Glase was a member of the last People's Chamber of the GDR from March 18, 1990 to October 3, 1990 (10th electoral period) . She was elected in constituency 12 (Potsdam). In the People's Chamber she was chairman of the committee for economic cooperation. From 1991 to 1994 she was a member of the European Parliament with observer status and from 1994 to 2004 she was a regular member of the European Parliament .

Since 2000 she has been chairwoman of the Association of Competence Center for Conversion / Ordnance Disposal (Komzet eV).
