Anne-Marie Marchand

Anne-Marie Marchand (born May 27, 1927 in Paris ; † August 1, 2005 there ) was a French costume designer .
Life
Marchand began her career in 1956 with French television. In the following year she was jointly responsible for the costumes of the 1910 crook comedy Arsène Lupine, the millionaire with Liselotte Pulver and OE Hasse . Her first independent feature film as a costume designer was the Louis de Funès - film comedy Fish or Meat 1958. After other feature films such as The Sacrifice of a Nun and Murky Water , she mainly worked for television in the 1960s. Her first feature film in almost a decade was another collaboration with Louis de Funès, Everything Dances to My Pipe . For her work on the period film Die Wiederkehr des Martin Guerre she was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Costume Design in 1984.
She lies on the cemetery Pere Lachaise buried in Paris.
