Dame Anne Fyfe Pringle , DCMG (born January 13, 1955 ) is a British diplomat .

Life

Anne Fyfe Pringle joined the foreign service in 1977. She was employed in Moscow from 1980 to 1982, then in San Francisco from 1983 to 1885. In 1986 she was promoted to second-class embassy secretary at UKREP in Brussels, in 1987 she was promoted to first-class embassy secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and married Bleddyn Phillips.

As a first-class embassy secretary, she was seconded to the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union in 1991 . From 1994 she was promoted to counselor. In 2001 she was involved in full-time language training. From November 2001 to 2004 she was ambassador in Prague .

On June 12, 2004, she became Companion and on December 31, 2009, Dame Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George .

From January 16, 2009 to 2011 she was ambassador to Moscow .
