Anne Hollinghurst

Anne Elizabeth Hollinghurst (* 1964 ) is a British Anglican bishop of the Church of England .

Life

Hollinghurst studied Anglican theology at Trinity College in Bristol , the University of Bristol and Hughes Hall in Cambridge . Hollinghurst was ordained a deaconess in 1996 and an Anglican priestess in 1997. From 2010 to 2015 Hollinghurst was Vicar of St Peter's Church in St Albans. Hollinghurst was consecrated bishop by Justin Welby on September 29, 2015 in St Paul's Cathedral . She is the Anglican Bishop of Aston in the Diocese of Birmingham. Hollinghurst is married.
