She completed her specialist training as an anesthetist and has been working as a resident psychotherapist with a focus on trauma treatment since 2009 . In addition to this professional activity, she writes fiction. First she published detective novels with regional references to the Münsterland , where she lives today. With thyme and blood , she wrote a book that cannot easily be assigned to a genre and was therefore not immediately accepted by a publisher. Meanwhile, Midnight Verlag, a digital publisher from the Ullstein publishing group , has taken over the distribution. Her latest book Night Train can be assigned to the genre Thriller . Anne Kuhlmeyer has been working on the online features section culturmag.de since 2011.
