Anneke Blok (* 1960 in Rheden , Gelderland ) is a Dutch actress .

Life

Blok studied at the Dutch “Arnhem Drama School” and in 1988 joined the De Trust theater group .

In 1989 she took on a role in the film Uw mening graag , which was released in the US under the title Your Opinion, Please . She then took on a guest role in the series Prettig gergeld and played a role in the 1990 film Wij houden zo van Julio . In the same year she starred in the film Kracht , which was shown under the title "Vigor" at the Toronto Film Festival . A year later she took on the role of “Bertie” in the mini series Bij nader inzien and in 1996 the role of “Rietje Kok” in the series Tijd van leven .

She then took on a guest role in the series Nosmo King and starred in the film De nieuwe moeder . She took on two other guest roles in the series Zebra and Over dediede .

By 2003 she took on several roles in various TV films, movies and series. In 2003 the film Verder dan de maan was released in the Netherlands , which was shown two years later under the title Weiter als der Mond in Germany.

After another guest role in the series Missie Warmoesstraat , she was seen in the film Het paard van Sinterklaas in 2005 , which was shown in Germany under the title Winky wants a horse at the Berlin International Film Festival . The follow-up film Waar is het paard van Sinterklaas? (German title: Wo ist Winkys Pferd? ) was released in 2007 and has been shown at film festivals in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and the USA, among others.

In 2006 she starred in the 43-minute film Tussen 2 huizen by Clara van Gool, which was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam .

After three more roles in 2007, she took on the role of "Anne" in the film Tiramisu in 2008 and then played in an episode of the series Keyzer & de Boer advocaten .

In the 2008 movie Mein Kriegswinter , she took on the role of "Lia". The film is also known under the English title Winter in Wartime and was nominated for the 2009 Oscar film prizes for best foreign film and the Satellite Award .

In 2008 she also took on the role of "Geertje de Graaff" in eleven episodes of the series De co-assistent and in 2009 she starred in three other television films. In 2009 she directed the mini series Annie MG and in 2010 she had guest appearances in the series Flikken Maastricht and S1ngle .
