Annemarie Pfeifer

Annemarie Pfeifer-Eggenberger (born November 15, 1954 ) is a Swiss psychologist , author and politician ( EPP ).

Life

Pfeifer grew up in the canton of Thurgau , attended the Kreuzlingen teacher training college and taught primary school students for several years. After her marriage to Samuel Pfeifer , she spent a year in Palestine, where both were involved in a hospital. This was followed by a stay in the USA, where she trained as a marriage therapist. In 1988 her husband was appointed head physician at the Sonnenhalde Psychiatric Clinic in Riehen. In addition to handling three sons studied Annemarie Pfeifer individual psychology at the Alfred Adler Institute in Zurich and as individual psychological consultant SGfB from. Since she graduated, she has been working part-time at the Sonnenhalde Clinic. She is also a seminar leader and author of several books on raising children.

She was a member of the Riehen residents' council from 1999 and has been a member of the municipal council since 2010 . In 2005 she moved to the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and was confirmed in 2008 and 2012.

Pfeifer is President of the Board of World Vision Switzerland and on the Board of Directors of World Vision International .
