Annet de Clermont-Gessant
Annet de Clermont-Gessant (also Annet de Clermont de Chattes-Gessant , * 1587 - † June 2, 1660 ) was the 59th Grand Master of the Order of Malta .
He belonged to the Auvergne tongue of the order before he was elected on February 9, 1660 to succeed Grand Master Martin de Redin , who had died three days earlier . Annet himself died just four months after his appointment. He was buried in the Auvergnian chapel dedicated to St. Sebastian inside St. John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta . His tomb has been preserved there to this day.
