History and organization

The grammar school was founded in 1999 on the former company premises of the Spinnerei & Weberei Paul Bendix and continues to use the listed buildings of the spinning mill after the redesign according to plans by Josef Paul Kleihues . For foreign language lessons, authentic speech contacts are maintained for the students in the target country. There are trips to England, France and Italy. As part of the participation in the “Encounter with Eastern Europe” competition, which has been maintained for more than 10 years, schoolchildren go to Polish host families and take in their partners in Dülmen.
