Annette Roeder

Annette Roeder (born November 12, 1968 in Munich ) is a German illustrator and children's book author .

Life

After graduating from high school, Roeder studied architecture. She started illustrating books around 2000. This includes several art coloring books, for example on Leonardo da Vinci, Marc Chagall or Edgar Degas. These are coloring books, especially for children, which are also suitable for handicrafts and tinkering. In addition, she illustrated picture books , such as Eine Frau für Müller Max by Sandra Grimm or Die Abenteuerreise ins ABC-Land by Elisabeth Zöller . In the Art for Kids series , she designed and wrote the two volumes 13 Buildings You Should Know and 13 Castles and Palaces You Should Know .

Since 2010 she has increasingly emerged as an author. She wrote a series of books under the motto My not exactly normal family . These include the two titles Holidays in the closet and Orangutans are not stolen. Her book series Die Krumpflinge has been published since 2014 , which now comprises eleven volumes and a special volume and is aimed at first-time readers. Most recently she wrote the multi-volume adventures about the Pink Robber Princess, the Hetty Flattermaus series and the bizarre friendship story Bone Buddies . Many of her publications are available as audio books.

Roeder lives with her three children in the south of Munich.
