Annette Schwarz (born January 17, 1962 in Delmenhorst ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending secondary school and high school, Schwarz trained as a gardener in Ganderkesee . She then studied spatial and environmental planning at the University of Kaiserslautern . She later worked as a graduate engineer in Saarbrücken , Frankfurt am Main and Bremen .

She is married and has four children.

Local politics

Schwarz has been a member of the CDU since 1995. Since 1996 she has been a member of the Delmenhorst City Council and the Hasbergen Local Council. From 1997 to 2006 board member of the CDU district association Delmenhorst; from 2000 to 2006 as district chairwoman.

State politics

From 1998 to 2008 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . In the state elections in 2008 she was defeated by the SPD candidate Swantje Hartmann , which is why she failed to make it into the state parliament again. After Hans-Christian Biallas, member of the state parliament, withdrew, Schwarz replaced him in the Lower Saxony state parliament on June 28, 2011. In the state elections on January 20, 2013 , she won the direct mandate in the Delmenhorst state electoral district and moved back to the Lower Saxony state parliament. Annette Schwarz has announced that she will not run again in the election for the 18th Lower Saxony state parliament .
