Anni-Kristiina Juuso

Anni-Kristiina Juuso ( North Sami : Ánne Risten Juuso; born May 4, 1979 in Ivalo , Inari , Finland ) is a Sami actress from Finland.

Juuso was founded in 1979 in Ivalo in Finnish Lapland born and speaks their native language Northern Sami and Finnish and English . At the age of six she made the decision to become an actress. Still, it took a few years before she could realize her dream. When she was 15, she left her family and hometown and moved to Helsinki to attend a theater secondary school, followed by training at an acting school in the Finnish capital.

During her apprenticeship, she worked as a presenter for the Finnish Yleisradio for the Sami program. She made her film debut in 2001 in the Russian war strip Kukuschka - The Cuckoo . For her film debut, she has received several awards, such as "Best Actress" at the Russian Film Festival in Vyborg and "Best Young Actress" at the Moscow International Film Festival .
