The Annie Heuser School was founded in 2002 in the Berlin district of Wilmersdorf ( Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district ). The school was named after the teacher and co-founder of the Association of Waldorf Schools , Annie Heuser (1896–1962). The half-day school is attended by students in grades 1 to 12. The facility also includes a daycare center . In 2011 the company moved into its own school building at Eisenzahnstrasse 37 near Hohenzollerndamm .

As usual at Waldorf schools, the main lessons for the classes take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in epochs. The Annie Heuser School sees itself as a lively, modern Waldorf school for children of today. The founder of the Waldorf school movement, Rudolf Steiner , asked his educators to continually review their approach and adapt it to the challenges of their time. In the Annie Heuser School - located in the middle of the city of Berlin - different children learn from the first Waldorf school in 1919.
