Annika Bochmann

Annika Bochmann (born July 16, 1991 in Nauen ) is a German sailor in the 470 class .

Annika Bochmann from the Seglerhaus am Wannsee association won the European Junior Championships in 2008, 2010 and 2012. In 2011 she was junior world champion, in 2010 and 2012 second. In 2012 she took third place at the European Championships and won her first World Cup regatta in Kiel. After two years without a top ten placement at international championships, Marlene Steinherr joined Annika Bochmann in autumn 2014 as the new crew member. After finishing fourth at the 2015 European Championships, eighth place at the 2015 World Championships meant qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games .

She studies geosciences at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel .
