Anoushiravan Rohani , also Anoushirvan Rohani ( Persian انوشیروان روحانی; * 1939 in Rasht ) is an Iranian composer and pianist.

Anoushiravan Rohani received music lessons from his father Reza Rohani, himself a poet and violinist. He later studied piano with Javad Maroufi at the Persian National Music Conservatory in Tehran . His passion for the keyboard and the piano was so great that in 1963 he was the first to import an electronic organ to Iran. In addition to the organ, he also played the accordion.

After the Iranian Revolution of 1979, he continued composing in the West, particularly in Los Angeles and Germany. He made various recordings for MZM Records. He has also worked with a large number of orchestras from around the world, including the Czech Symphony Orchestra , which recorded the orchestral works for his album Love Melodies .

Rohani has composed for and performed with a wide variety of Iranian singers. Including: Vigen , Marzieh , Pouran, Hayedeh , Mahasti and Ahdieh. His most famous piece is Tavalodet Mobarak ( Persian تولدت مبارک; Text by Nozar Parang), which is played or sung as an Iranian birthday song on appropriate occasions.
