The Ansbacher baths and traffic GmbH operates the regional city bus traffic in Ansbach under the name ABUS Ansbacher bus lines . The company is a 100% subsidiary of Stadtwerke Ansbach . The company transports around two million passengers annually on seven bus routes. The transport company Robert Rattelmeier GmbH & Co. KG from Aurach acts as a cooperation partner of the Ansbacher Bäder und Verkehr .

traffic

On some less frequented external routes, collective call taxes are included, which can be used with a surcharge on the bus tariff. Scheduled taxis are used on the routes of the Ansbach bus routes throughout the city.

On September 22, 2015, the Ansbach City Council decided with the votes of the CSU, the SPD and the Free Voters and 22 to 18 votes to cancel 222 of the 757 daily bus trips from the timetable change in December 2015. The city council thus confirmed a resolution of six supervisory boards of the ABuV of the same parties that was not legally passed in April 2015. Associated with this are the elimination of stops, an increase in the number of times on various lines from 30 to 60 minutes, poorer connection options to S-Bahn trains and the complete suspension of individual parts of the city from local public transport. This means that the bus offer has been reduced to 60 percent compared to 2012.
