Ansegis of Troyes

Ansegis of Troyes († December 28, 970 ) was Bishop of Troyes and Chancellor and Grand Almosenier of King Rodulf of France .

His year of birth is unknown. The beginning of his term of office as bishop is also not recorded. On December 6, 924 he defeated the Norman Duke Ragnvald in a battle on Mount Calaus with the Counts Garnier von Sens, Menasse von Dijon and Bishop Josselin von Langres .

He died on December 28, 970. He is buried in a sarcophagus in Troyes Cathedral.
