Ansgar Evensen (born April 18, 2000 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Evensen, who starts for the Vind IL , became Norwegian junior champion over 10 km classic in 2017 and junior champion in sprint four times in a row from 2017 to 2020. He won the silver medal in the sprint at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Soldier Hollow . He also achieved fourth place there with the relay. The following year he became Norwegian sprint champion in Konnerud and won the gold medal in sprint at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Oberwiesenthal . In addition, he came there in tenth place with the relay. He made his debut in the World Cup in March 2020 in Drammen , which he finished in 39th place in the sprint.
