Ansgar Moenikes

Ansgar Moenikes (* 1959 in Büren (Westphalia) ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and exegete of the Old Testament .

Life

He completed his studies in Catholic theology, comparative religious studies, philosophy and biblical studies at the Theological Faculty of Paderborn, the University of Münster , the University of Bonn and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (there also intensive language courses in Modern Hebrew with final exams: Ptor) with a doctorate in Dr. . phil. (Religious Studies, Philosophy and Biblical Studies) in Bonn . Until 2005 he was a research assistant at the Moses Mendelssohn Center for European-Jewish Studies at the University of Potsdam , the Free University of Berlin , the University of Paderborn and the Paderborn Theological Faculty (representative of the academic mid-level staff and second representative of the Paderborn Theological Faculty at the Catholic-Theological Faculty Day). Until 2010 he taught as a lecturer for Old Testament, Biblical and Modern Hebrew at the University of Potsdam, the Free University of Berlin, the Paderborn Theological Faculty, the PTH Münster , the University of Paderborn, the University of Wuppertal and the University of Saarbrücken . After his habilitation in 2004 in the subject of Exegesis of the Old Testament at the Theological Faculty Paderborn and the granting of the Venia legendi for the subject of Exegesis of the Old Testament, he taught in 2007 as a visiting professor for Old Testament science at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt . In 2008 he represented the Chair of the Old Testament at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn. Since 2009 he has been an adjunct professor of the Old Testament at the Paderborn Theological Faculty. From 2010 to 2011 he represented the chair for the Old Testament at the Theological Faculty in Paderborn. From 2012 to 2013 he was a teacher for special tasks for the Old Testament at the University of Paderborn.
