The Compil residence (also Compill , Brandisserhof or Klebelsberg ) is a listed building on Selig-Heinrich-Strasse in Bozen since 1953 .

The house has been mentioned since the 13th century: The first mentioned as owners are the maturers of Compil, who came from the Bolzano aristocracy . For almost three hundred years - from the end of the 15th century to 1761 - the residence belonged to the Brandis family . The Dormouse - Chapel was consecrated in 1457th The late Baroque altarpiece shows the seven youths sleeping in a cave. It was made by Anton Cuseth in the late 18th century.

The mansion later passed into the hands of von Menz, von Graff and von Scherer and, around the middle of the 19th century, to the von Pretz family. In 1891 there was a division among the seven daughters, whereby the property passed to the current owners of Klebelsberg .

Around 1870, the residence was by reconstruction in neo-Gothic - English style historicist brought into the present form. The German economist Hermann Roesler lived here until his death in 1893 .
