Location of the Anta da Arcainha in Portugal.

The Anta da Arcainha (also called Dólmen do Seixo de Beira) is located near a driveway, on a hill in Oliveira do Hospital in the Coimbra district in Portugal . Anta or dolmen is the Portuguese name for around 5000 megalithic structures that were built during the Neolithic in the west of the Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the cardial or imprint culture . Although the Anta has been improperly restored, it still retains part of its former dignity. Some of the stones are made of molded concrete. The capstone measures around 4.0 × 3.5 × 0.3 m and lies almost horizontally. It is supported by (now) nine (originally five preserved in situ ) bearing stones with a height of 3.0 to 4.0 m. The dolmen is likely a peripheral structure of the complex on the other side of the Mondego .

About 3.3 km to the east is the Anta of Curral dos Mouros (also called Dólmen or Anta da Sobreda).
