Anta de Aguiar

The Anta de Aguiar (also called Anta do Ferragial do Aguiar) is remote, south of Aguiar , near the ER 254 road near Viana do Alentejo in the Évora district in Portugal . Anta is the Portuguese name for around 5000 megalithic structures or dolmens , which were built during the Neolithic in the west of the Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the cardial or imprint culture .

The ante is partially destroyed, but the main components are more or less present or recognizable, especially the access corridor. The Anta was built in the Chalcolithic and has not yet been classified as a national monument.
