Coordinates: 40 ° 53'53.3 " N , 7 ° 49'25" W.
Anta von Pendilhe (also called Casa da Moura da Orca de Pendile) is a megalithic complex on the road from Castro Daire to Vila Nova de Paiva in the Viseu district in Portugal . Anta or dolmen is the Portuguese name for around 5000 megalithic structures that were built during the Neolithic in the west of the Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the cardial or imprint culture .
The chamber of this Anta is completely preserved except for a half-chipped side bearing stone including its capstone. The chambers of most of the Antas have their greatest extension in the extension of the corridor, some are so-called broad chambers, the longest side of which, like the Anta de Pendilhe, lies across the corridor. The entrance to the chamber is marked by a small pillar. One bearing stone has been preserved on each side of the original passage. It is significantly lower than the chamber. The quarry stone masonry , which suggests a long corridor , was built in the course of the restoration in the 1990s and does not correspond to the find situation. Finds inside the facility are not known.
