Anta do Monte Serôdio
The Anta do Monte Serôdio (also called Monte Serôdio) is located west of Lousal near Grândola in the Setúbal district in Estremadura in Portugal .
The Anta was built during the Neolithic or the Chalcolithic and is not yet protected.
The megalithic monument consists of the chamber and the passage. The chamber, measuring 3.0 × 3.3 m, has a trapezoidal shape and is built with seven side stones with an average height of around 1.8 m. Six of them are in situ , one fell inward. The 1.2 m wide corridor is relatively short at around 2.1 m. Its side stones are about 0.6 m high. The first two are arranged to narrow access to the chamber and create a small atrium in the passage. There is no evidence of a cover, but there are several larger stones nearby that may have been part of the cover. When examining the inside, 25 bowls were discovered on one of the side stones .
The megalithic complexes of Lousal are nearby .
