Antanas Būdvytis
Antanas Būdvytis (born August 16, 1928 in Jonikaičiai , Klaipėda district ; † January 13, 1998 in Akademija , Kėdainiai district ) was a Lithuanian agronomist and politician.
Life
From 1935 to 1940 he studied in Kurmiai near Klaipėda and from 1940 to 1946 at the Švėkšna high school near Šilutė . From 1946 to 1951 he completed his diploma in agronomy at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1951 to 1952 he worked in the sovkhos in Anavilis in the district of Vilnius , from 1952 to 1954 at the Agricultural Institute at the Lietuvos mokslų akademija as a research assistant . In 1960 he received his doctorate in agricultural science . From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .
From 1960 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1990 of the LDDP .
His grave is in Gėlainiai near Kėdainiai .
