Antanas Bosas

Antanas Bosas (born June 10, 1955 in Syktywkar , Komi ) is a Lithuanian businessman and politician .

Life

In 1958, Bosas and his parents returned to Lithuania after they were deported . After graduating from high school in 1973, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics at the Antanas Sniečkus Political Engineering Institute in Kaunas in 1978 and became a mechanic . In 2000 he received his doctorate in economics from the Vilniaus universitetas .

From 1978 to 1982 he worked as a master at Laivų statykla “Baltija” in Klaipėda , from 1986 to 1989 in Gargždai , from 1989 to 2004 president of UAB “ Vakarų Lietuvos pramonės ir finansų korporacija ”, from 2001 to 2004 lecturer at the Klaipėdos universitetas . From 2004 to 2008 he was a member of Seimas .

From 2000 to 2003, 2007 and from 2011 to 2015, Bosas was a member of the Klaipėda Municipality Council .

Bosas has been a member of the Darbo partija since 2003 .

From 1973 to 1999 Bosas played rugby , from 1995 to 1998 was a member of the Lithuanian national team, was Lithuanian champion. From 2009 to 2010 he was President of Lietuvos regbio federacija .
