Antanhol is a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Coimbra , it was merged with the Freguesia Assafarge to form União das Freguesias de Assafarge e Antanhol in 2013 . As of June 30, 2011, there were 2,549 inhabitants in it.

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Antanhol and Assafarge were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Assafarge e Antanhol .
