Antarctic Support Associates

Antarctic Support Associates (short: ASA) was an American service company from Denver , Colorado .

ASA was created as a joint venture between EG&G and the engineering company Holmes & Narver from Orange, California . On October 3, 1989, the company took over the activities of ITT Antarctic Services to provide logistical support for the research work of the National Science Foundation in Antarctica . After ten years, the company lost that contract to Raytheon in 1999 and ceased to exist.
