features

Anthemis pseudocotula is an annual stem therophyte that reaches heights of 10 to 50 centimeters. The ray florets are often fertile. The stalks of the fruit heads are curved and thickened like a club. The fruit is 1.25 millimeters in size, has short ears and stays on the base of the head.

The flowering period extends from April to August.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 18 or 18 + 1B.

Occurrence

Anthemis pseudocotula occurs in the eastern Mediterranean. The species grows on fields and ruderal sites .
