Anthony John Holland

Anthony John Holland short: Tony Holland (born January 18, 1940 in Shoeburyness , England , † November 28, 2007 in London ) was a British screenwriter .

Life

Holland's career began in 1966 with the Doctor Who series . He was spotted by the BBC a year later and began scriptwriting . It was not until 1970 that he worked on "Z-Cars", where he met producer and director Julia Smith and began a long collaboration.

In May 2007, Holland entered into a partnership with Paul Wade, but died in November 2007 after a long illness.
