Anthony Prospect

Guillermo Antonio Prospect (born February 10, 1928 in Trinidad ; † 2000 ) was a conductor and promoter of the Steel Pan .

Prospect grew up in Port of Spain and went to school in Maraval and Belmont , where he won a government scholarship to study in England at the Royal Military School of Music at Knellar Hall.

He entered the service of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Band in 1944 and held the rank of superintendent from 1967. He also conducted several steel bands and won the Steelband Music Festival in 1982 with the Trinidad Casablanca Steel Orchestra.
