Anthony Strong
Anthony Strong (born October 29, 1984 in Croydon , Surrey ) is a British jazz singer, pianist and songwriter.
Strong graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008. He played in London clubs (including leading jazz clubs such as Pizzy Express Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott's, 606 Jazz Club) and Jerry Lee Lewis in the Westend Musical Million Dollar Quartet . In 2010 he performed at the London Jazz Festival , accompanied by Chris Botti . In 2011 and 2012 he toured festivals in Europe and played at the Paris jazz club Duc de Lombards . In 2012 he performed with BB King at Le Grand Rex in Paris and on the BBC New Years show Live from Savoy Ballroom .
In 2009 his debut album Guaranteed! (with his own compositions), his EP Delovely in 2011 and his album Stepping Out in 2013 on the French Naive label (with James Morrison , Nigel Hitchcock ).
