Anthony Wall (born May 29, 1975 in Camberley , England ) is a former English professional golfer on the European Tour .
The son of a London taxi driver became a professional golfer in 1995 and played the Challenge Tour in 1996 and 1997 . From the 1998 season until his retirement in May 2018, Wall was permanently on the European Tour, was never worse than 110th place in their money list and recorded two tournament victories.
In 2006 he was able to come up with two second places, at the Algarve Open de Portugal and at the prestigious and strong Smurfit Kappa European Open . That same year Wall was the best British player in the Open Championship with an eleventh place.
The tall Englishman has been married to his wife Sharon since 2002 and has two sons. The family lives in Sunningdale, England.
