Camberley is a town in Surrey , about 30 miles southwest of central London in a corridor formed by the M3 and M4 motorways . It has over 30,000 inhabitants. Sights include the Surrey Heath Museum . The actress Judith Furse (1912–1974) was born in Camberley.

Camberley was the General Staff Academy ( Staff College ) , where z. B. Yitzchak Rabin completed a one-year course in 1953/54. The Academy was founded in 1801 and began training staff officers from Commonwealth and other states in 1945.
