Anti Avsan

Anti Avsan (born January 8, 1958 ) is a Swedish politician ( Moderaterna ). He was a member of the Swedish Parliament from 2006 to 2018 .

Avsan was a police officer in Stockholm in the 1980s . The Swedish journalist Sven Anér claimed in 2008 that Avsan was the murderer of the then Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme .

In his later career, he became the City Director of Stockholm City Hall . As a member of the Reichstag, Avsan is involved in domestic politics. At a meeting of MEPs in Brussels , he advocated simplifying the mutual recognition of judicial decisions at EU level.
